Storm Drain Stencilling Party in Westmont

Painting parties seem to be all the rage these days, and the Village of Westmont will be holding one on Saturday, May 13th from 8am to 11am.  The subject?  Storm drains across the community!

Volunteers are needed to help stencil local storm drains with a "Dump No Waste - Drains To River" stencil in hopes that their fellow citizens will avoid loading the Village storm drains with dangerous materials, debris and pollutants that will lower the water quality in the local rivers and streams they drain to.  Clean water starts with actions like this!

The Village of Westmont is looking for 100 volunteers for this event, and all supplies will be provided.
