Kick off your family festival season at the The Conservation Foundation's Spring at the Dickson-Murst Farm on Sunday, May 6th, 9am to 3pm.
Enjoy the happy scenes and simple joys of life on the farm as you pet farm animals, do crafts, take in farm demonstrations and enjoy tasty vittles from the Country Kitchen. Antique trucks and tractors and bluegrass will set a nostalgic mood. Students from the Newark chapter of Future Farmers of America (FFA) will have their farm animals at the event and will also be selling annuals and hanging baskets, just in time for Mother's Day giving and adding color to your gardens and container plantings.
This event is free and open to the public and is put together by the Dickson-Murst Farm Partners, a volunteer group of The Conservation Foundation. There is free parking available and the event will be held rain or shine.
The Conservation Foundation's Dickson-Murst Farm is located at 2550 Dickson Road in Montgomery, south of Route 30 and north of Galena Road.
