A Fox River Testimony Exhibit Opening
April 12 Skunk Cabbage, Red Oak Nature Preserve

Don't miss the long-awaited exhibit opening of A Fox River Testimony, where 73 original paintings by our Art of the Fox Artist-In-Residence Joel Sheesley will be on display at the beautiful Schingoethe Center at Aurora University.

A Fox River Testimony's Grand Opening will take place Thursday, September 20th, with an opening reception from 5pm to 6:30pm and an Artist's Talk at 6:45pm (registration will be required for this portion of the evening; check back often to see when registration is open).

Joel has spent the last two years travelling up and down the Fox River from West Dundee down to Ottawa, capturing all of its moods, meanders and seasons on canvas.  A Fox River Testimony is, in Joel's own words, his attempt "to respond through art to the beauty of this river."  He has hiked, canoed and examined with an artist's eye nearly every inch of the Fox, and you will be thoroughly moved by the result of those hours and miles on the river.

The exhibit will be open through December 14th during the Schingoethe Center's regular hours.

Many thanks to the Schingoethe Center for hosting A Fox River Testimony and sponsoring our opening reception!
