A Fox River Testimony Exhibit Opening at Geneva History Museum

The Geneva History Museum is pleased to partner with The Conservation Foundation and our Artist-In-Residence Joel Sheesley to feature Joel’s Fox River paintings in the exhibition A Fox River Testimony: Select Works by Joel Sheesley from Feb. 2 through May 24, 2019.

There will be a special Members-Only opening reception on Friday, February 1st, 6pm to 8pm, open to members of The Conservation Foundation.  If you are already a member, you should have received an email with registration information (if you did not, please click here).  If you are not a member, become one today so you can take advantage of this special reception opportunity!  Not only will you get to enjoy this private opening, you’ll be helping us reach our New Member Challenge goal of 300 new members by June 30th, 2019.  If we can reach this goal, Betsy Hamill Bramsen will generously donate an additional $75,000!

The museum, located at 113 South Third St., is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, and gallery admission is $3 per person or free for museum members. Original paintings, giclée prints of selected works and an exhibit catalogue of Joel’s work and writings are available for purchase as well.

This exhibition is sponsored in part by Geneva Cultural Arts Commission and Geneva Foundation for the Arts.
