The Prairie Oak Society of The Conservation Foundation was established to recognize those donors who contribute $1,000 or more on an annual basis to help The Conservation Foundation continue its work of protecting open space and natural areas and improving our rivers and watersheds.
Major donors make a significant impact on The Conservation Foundation by enabling a vision to be created for the organization that ensures protected open space for all to enjoy.
The benefits of membership to the Prairie Oak Society include recognition in the quarterly magazine, The Heron, events and special programs developed exclusively for members of the Prairie Oak Society, and a special progress report detailing the impact of each donor's gift.
For additional information, or to join the Prairie Oak Society, please contact Scott LaMorte, Major Gifts Officer, at The Conservation Foundation, at 630-428-4500 Ext. 142.
Illinois' native landscape is symbolized by the prairie and its majestic oak.
Like the oak, our donors provide the strength, stability and longevity necessary to build a strong organization.
