Scott LaMorte is our first-ever Major Gifts Officer. Scott focuses his efforts on securing donations of $1,000 or more to build the ranks of the Prairie Oak Society, The Conservation Foundation’s foremost giving society. Having served as a senior-level fundraiser at IC Catholic Prep, Holy Name Cathedral and Elmhurst College over the last decade, Scott brings the expertise we need to take our fundraising, and ultimately our conservation work, to new heights. “The Conservation Foundation has developed into a vital force for good in our region,” said Scott. “My goal is to find the support we need to continue growing as an organization and to fund the important programs that we offer to our communities.”
Scott lives in Elmhurst with his wife Valerie, ten-year-old son Luke and seven-year-old daughter Emma. He is an avid White Sox fan, which we try not to hold against him, and in his free time he volunteers for the Down Syndrome Research and Treatment Foundation. In May 2012, he drove across the country on Route 66, raising more than $10,000 for the organization! Scott’s office is at the McDonald Farm in Naperville and he can be reached at 630-428-4500, Ext. 42 firstname.lastname@example.org.
