Gail Bumgarner, a resident of Downers Grove, is the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Chief Strategy Officer of Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora. She joined Rush-Copley in April 2008. Over the past fifteen years, Ms Bumgarner has held executive strategy and marketing positions at Centegra Health System in McHenry, Illinois and Cardinal Health System in Muncie, Indiana and was also a vice president at the Magellan Management Group, a healthcare consulting firm in Indianapolis, Indiana. She has over 25 years of experience in healthcare.
She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development. Currently, she serves on the board of the Fox Valley United Way and is a volunteer tutor with Literacy DuPage.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan and a Master of Public Affairs degree from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs in Bloomington, Indiana.
