With so much that was familiar in their little worlds crumbling around them this year,
it has been incredibly important

Thanks to the support of our members and donors, our Environmental Education staff have been able to adapt and fulfill the need for virtual learning opportunities in many local schools, and to also provide a safe place for children and families to connect with nature and each other in person at McDonald Farm at a time when they are most in need of nature’s healing benefits.
From our Mighty Acorns® school programs to our
Nature Pods and Family Adventures at McDonald Farm, we are dedicated to helping children
grow and learn, safely, in nature.
