Kane County Earth Day Gathering

Join us on Monday, April 12th at our Kane County Earth Day Gathering for food and drinks, LIVE MUSIC (ohhh haven’t we been missing that!!) and a cozy evening around a campfire where we can toast marshmallows, toast each other (from a safe distance), celebrate the hard-earned bright spots and wisdom we have gained through the challenges of the past year, and rekindle our inner sparks to light up the future.

We’ll be gathering at the lovely Peck Farm Park in Geneva from 6pm to 8pm and enjoying the musical stylings of local musician Pat Moynihan with a beer, glass of wine or other beverage in hand and indulging in savory heavy hors d’ oeuvres.  Dress comfortably in preparation for a casual vibe and evening spent outdoors.  Masks and social distancing will be required for everyone’s safety and comfort.

Tickets are $125/person and the event is limited to 50 people.

Patrick James Moynihan is a multi instrumentalist singer, songwriter and producer from the far western suburbs of Chicago. He’s often found on stage beside roots musicians, behind the mix console at a festival or producing in his recording studio, Waveform Media. When found solo in the wild, Patrick brings a blend of blues, jazz and country together in a uniquely original loop driven way!

Peck Farm Park in Geneva blends history and nature in one peaceful visit.  We’ll be gathering in the amphitheater just beyond the restored farmstead grounds,  with a breathtaking view of more than 350 acres of prairie and shimmering wetlands.  Stroll along nature trails and through the Sensory Garden and enjoy the sunset over the rolling prairie.

 We’re looking forward to relaxing in this gorgeous landscape as we celebrate the Bright Spots of the past year and come together to be a light for nature.
