Earth Day Virtual Benefit Week Day 3: Reimagine

Our 2020 Earth Day Virtual Benefit Week is running from Wednesday, April 15th to Wednesday, April 22nd!
Our online Silent Auction is open for bidding and we’ll be bringing you daily opportunities to reconnect with others, encourage hope in these unsettling days, and
recommit ourselves to the restoration of our natural world.
And it will all culminate the evening of April 22nd, the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day!

Silent Auction

Our Silent Auction is a foundational part of each Earth Day Benefit.  Once again this year, members and friends of the Foundation and businesses throughout Northeastern Illinois have donated wonderful artwork, books, jewelry, native plant material, trips, and adventure, sports and dining certificates
that have earned our silent auction its acclaimed reputation.

Most sections of the auction, including Featured Items, are open.
But check back daily because the Art section opens Thursday and Garden and Libations open Friday (just in time for the weekend :)) and new items will be added daily!

All silent auction bidding will be done remotely this year and
the auction will be open Wednesday, April 15th to Wednesday, April 22nd.

Getting Your Silent Auction Winnings After The Auction is Closed

We will be setting up some pickup days at McDonald Farm the week after the auction closes, and will be delivering Silent Auction winnings to addresses within 20 miles of McDonald Farm in Naperville.  If you need delivery or shipping of larger items to addresses beyond that, please keep in mind while bidding that you will be asked to pay a reasonable shipping or delivery fee.  Some of our Silent Auction donors have graciously agreed to ship your winnings directly to you.

McDonald Farm is located at 10S404 Knoch Knolls Rd, Naperville, IL 60565.

Virtual “Ticket” Donations

Because health concerns are preventing us from holding an in-person dinner, we are giving those who would have purchased a ticket to the event the option to donate their ticket price.  We’ll still provide you “dinner”, in the form of a restaurant gift certificate from a local dining establishment as a way to support small business!

Individual tickets to the Earth Day Benefit Dinner are $125 each.
You do NOT need a ticket to participate in the auction – this is just a fun little way of making us feel like we get to
share a meal with you, and support some local restaurants at the same time.

Please contact Carrie Thompson at 630-428-4500, Ext. 110 or [email protected] for more information or questions regarding donating your ticket amount.
