BioBlitz at Dayton Bluffs

Join us for a BioBlitz at Dayton Bluffs, Ottawa on Saturday, May 14th from 8:00am 12:00pm! This is an event where volunteers are encouraged to walk the preserve and take pictures of whatever living things you find, including plants, birds, mushrooms, etc.
This event will utilize a free-to-use phone app called iNaturalist to take pictures of any and all life that’s out on site, help identify what you’ve found, and post their locations to a map for other folks to see. We will use the observations you find to help inform how we manage Dayton Bluffs in the future. This is a great family friendly project: all you need is a smartphone!
