The West Branch DuPage River Corridor Restoration improvements included the extension of a flood control berm and multi-use path along River Road, the creation of floodwater storage, the realignment of the West Branch DuPage River, and associated river restoration. In order to reduce existing water surface elevations, the re-meander realigned the river with the Warrenville Road bridge, which was built concurrently. The project also included a dam removal and the installation of best management practices. This webinar will provide a deep dive into how this project was accomplished in partnership with multiple agencies and funding partners. This webinar is free and one (1) PDH will be provided.
