Held in partnership with Fountaindale Public Library in Bolingbrook, this four-part monthly film series features movies that collectively tell a story about the interconnectedness of biodiversity, human, environmental, soil, and animal health, regenerative agriculture, and a sustainable food system.

Each event will be held at Fountaindale Public Library and consist of the film screening followed by a moderated panelist discussion. Participants will take home an item that will help them implement lessons learned from the film. Each event requires advance registration through Fountaindale Public Library’s website.

Synopsis:
Food, Inc. 2 is a sequel to the 2008 Oscar-nominated documentary Food, Inc. Examining how the food system has evolved over the last 15 years since the first film was made, producers Robert Kenner and Melissa Robledo team up with authors Michael Pollan (Omnivore’s Dilemma) and Eric Schlosser (Fast Food Nation) to examine the modern food industry’s efficiency and vulnerabilities and its impacts on consumers and the environment.
