Conservation@Home Will Garden Showcase

August 1, 2026 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

2026 Will County Garden Showcase Banner

Conservation@Home Will Garden Showcase

Saturday, August 1st
9:00am — 1:00pm

Due to the weather, we will be pushing back the start of the showcase to 10:00 am.

We are expecting rain throughout the day but it should be getting lighter and even potentially having some windows of time without rain. The event will still conclude at 1:00 pm. Our gardeners are looking forward to sharing their beautiful yards with you all – and we know that native plant lovers are hardy folk!

Please still use your own discretion whether it is safe to proceed. Do not stay outside if it is lightning or if dangerous conditions arise. Hope to see you out there!

Join us for a self-guided garden showcase and be inspired by our community’s stunning Conservation@Home certified gardens! Explore a variety of landscapes featuring native plants, water-wise gardening techniques, and thriving wildlife habitats throughout Will County (you can also join us in Kendall County the following Saturday, August 8th).

This free event is part of the Conservation@Home program, designed to help homeowners create more sustainable, environmentally friendly yards that contribute to a healthier ecosystem while adding some extra beauty to our everyday lives.

Come ready to gather ideas, connect with nature, and get motivated to start your own journey toward a greener lifestyle!

We do our best to offer programs, rain or shine. But in the case of inclement weather, staff will send an email to registrants.

We would like to respect the privacy of those participating in our showcase and therefore do not list the garden addresses publicly. Those who register for the showcase will be emailed a detailed map outlining each of our featured yards. You can then choose which gardens you’d like to visit during our designated 9:00am — 1:00pm timeframe.
