1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 1/2 cups sour cream
3/4 cup Miracle Whip
1 1/2 cups onions, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/3 teaspoons sea salt
1/4 teaspoon each onion powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
In a saucepan, melt butter in olive oil; brown the onions with a pinch of salt.
As the onions begin to color, add garlic, being careful not to brown it. Remove from heat and allow to cool. In a bowl, stir together remaining ingredients and add the cooled onions.
Makes 2 cups.
