The Conservation Foundation Earns Top Rating From Charity Navigator For 2nd Year In a Row

Time to brag just a little!

For the second consecutive year, The Conservation Foundation has received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, recognizing our healthy financial management and commitment to accountability and transparency. Charity Navigator is a non-profit corporation that evaluates charitable organizations in the U.S. and acts as an independent charity watchdog in the philanthropic arena.

Our President/CEO Brook McDonald said being recognized for a second year by Charity Navigator is a great honor. “We’ve always been very proud of our transparency and strong financial management practices. Our mission’s impact is what makes us effective, along with a solid commitment from staff and board that continually work toward that end.”

Only 23 percent of evaluated charities have received at least two consecutive 4-star evaluations, meaning The Conservation Foundation outperforms most other charities in America. The 4-star rating is the highest possible designated by Charity Navigator and demonstrates to the public that The Conservation Foundation is worthy of a donor’s trust.

With so many charities and worthy causes to choose from, we hope our 4-star rating provides donors with confidence that their hard-earned dollars are being well-spent by a reputable organization.

Thank you for your trust in us and for all of your support in making The Conservation Foundation a strong, solid and impactful organization!
