Cash, Check or Credit Card
Credit card donations can be completed online by using our secure donation portal. You may also drop off cash or checks to our office at the address below. We love the chance to say “thanks!” right away! Deadline to for drop offs is 3:00pm on Friday, December 29th. To send a donation through the mail, postmark your envelope by Saturday, December 30, 2023 to ensure it qualifies for 2023.

IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDS)
A Qualified Charitable Distribution has many benefits. If you are over 70.5 years old and have a traditional IRA, you can donate up to $100,000 per year. We recommend you contact your IRA provider to make a distribution by December 1 to ensure distributions are received before year end so that you receive the tax benefit.
Stocks and Mutual Funds
Stocks and bonds may also be gifted to The Conservation Foundation. Donors can deduct the full current market value as a charitable contribution and avoid paying capital gains tax on the appreciated value. Please consult your tax advisor for specific information and contact Abby Beck at 630-428-4500 ext. 135 to request transfer instructions.
