The WellBatavia Festival is an annual expo showcasing the health and wellness resources serving the Batavia community. The Conservation Foundation will be there to showcase the wide range of nature-based services that improve the mental and physical health.
We will be holding two 30-minute Nature Rx walks through the Batavia Wildflower Sanctuary. Practitioners from Northern Illinois University will be doing biometric health screens as part of the festival. They will be available to do pre-and post walk screenings to see if people’s blood pressure dropped during the walk.
