I HATE getting dressed up. Loathe it.
But two weeks from today I will gladly don pantyhose and a fancy(ish) dress for one of the most exciting and important evening’s of the year, The Conservation Foundation’s Earth Day Benefit DInner, on April 24th.
Referred to as "Prom for Nature People" by one of last year’s attendees, it’s an evening of fine dining, shopping in the nature-inspired silent auction, and jovial conversation with those who share your environmental ideals. Play the Wall of Wine, and purchase your chance to win $500 in a Heads or Tails Raffle.
You’ll enjoy an inspiring original video and the opportunity to make a difference for nature in northeastern Illinois, and you’ll leave full of fresh vigor for the conservation cause (and hopefully a few treasures won in the silent auction)!
You can still purchase tickets for the Earth Day Benefit Dinner – just click here. Prom dresses are optional!
