1/2 pound Italian sausage, crumbled
1 medium fennel bulb, thinly sliced 1/3 cup onion, chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 12-inch pizza crust
1/3 cup marinara sauce
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 medium tomato, diced
2 tablespoons basil, julienned
Cook sausage for 6 to 8 minutes; set aside. Add fennel, onion and salt to skillet and cook until fennel begins to brown, 5 to 8 minutes; cover and cook 5 minutes until tender. Spread crust with sauce. Top with sausage and fennel mixture, cheeses, tomatoes and basil. Bake 10 minutes.
