2020 is finally over, but things are still not quite back to normal, and these colder months make it more difficult to gather outside where it feels a little safer. But that doesn’t mean we can’t still learn about and connect with the natural world!! In fact, these winter months are the perfect time to strengthen your knowledge and put some nature-friendly plans in place for the upcoming growing season.
Our ConservationOnline webinar series is the perfect resource! Since last Spring when the stay-at-home order began and our in-person presentations had to be cancelled, we have been offering webinars on a wide variety of nature-based topics. We’re continuing to offer webinars once a week, on Wednesdays at 1pm. Click here to check out our events page for upcoming webinars!
Our past webinars are available for your enjoyment and education at any time that is convenient for you!
Conservation@Home
Many of our webinar topics focus on the principles of our Conservation@Home program – landscaping with native plants, water conservation in the home landscape, creating habitat for wildlife (and your enjoyment), and using fewer chemicals and pollutants as you manage your outdoor environment. Perhaps you’ve already put some of these ideas into practice, and if so, we think you should be recognized for your efforts! We can come take a look at your property, offer advice on other ways you can work with nature in your yard, and designate you as a Conservation@Home certified property, complete with a sign, once you’re ready!
