Going Beyond Organic: Green Earth Is Now Real Organic Certified!

Real Organic logo

For two decades, we’ve been proud to carry the USDA Organic certification—a badge that reflects our growing practices and overall mission that every person, regardless of where they live or their social-economic status, deserves clean water, clean air, healthy food, and safe access to nature as a way to be healthy and happy.  In further support of our mission, we are excited to share some big news: we’re now Real Organic Certified as well! This new certification is all about doubling down on what we already stand for—clean, transparent farming for our community, and a deep dedication to growing healthy food while caring for all living things.

So, what’s a Real Organic Certification? The Real Organic Project takes organic farming a step further by focusing on its origins. This certification goes beyond USDA standards, ensuring farms uphold core values like nurturing healthy, living soil, treating animals humanely with access to pasture, and maintaining a strong commitment to sustainable and transparent farming practices.

The Real Organic Project adds another layer of assurance that we’re adhering to the practices that make organic farming truly special. It’s our way of showing you exactly how your food is grown and proving that we’re staying true to our mission. It’s about going beyond the standards to deliver food that’s truly good for you, for the land, and for the future.

Living soil is the backbone of Real Organic farming, and it’s something we’ve always prioritized. By growing in healthy, nutrient-rich soil, we’re able to produce food that’s not only tastier but also better for you and the planet. Labels can be confusing and the word “organic” is not always used in ways that reflect its true meaning. Real Organic Certification ensures that our farm stays true to the original spirit of organic farming.

We’re so grateful for your support and for being part of this journey with us. Because of you, we can keep doing what we love while staying true to our mission. Cheers to growing a healthier, more sustainable future—one harvest at a time.

Keep on growing,

Your Farm Team – Sheryl, Russ, Eric, Anne, Dan C., & Jennifer
